Welcome to the Follas Center for Reproductive Medicine
I’m Dr. David McLaughlin, MD, the medical director for the Follas Center for Reproductive Medicine. My patients call me Dr. Mac, and on this site I’ll attempt to answer many of the questions you may have about how we can help you get pregnant. I’ll do my best to explain to you how infertility physicians are increasing fertility in women, and share with you some of the current information about infertility, the common issues, and treatments that are available through our fertility clinic.
Before we begin, you should know that you aren’t alone. In the United States alone, more than 7 million women have received treatment for infertility, and combined spend more than $5 billion per year. You should also be aware that most insurance companies are no longer reimbursing the costs to conceive, meaning many of the costs are being picked up by the patients. We are well aware of this, and ensure that we only utilize the tests and treatments that have relevance to your specific reproductive issues.
I would like to give you a little more information about myself. I have been practicing IVF (and other fertility techniques) in the Midwest for over 30 years. My primary practice is Women’s Specialty Health Center (WSHC) which is located just north of Indianapolis in Noblesville, Indiana. Don’t be surprised if when you call the Follas Center, you are welcomed by my staff at WSHC. We have been partners with the Follas Center for 6 years in an effort to provide the best fertility services to patients throughout the Midwest.
My staff and I are sensitive to your concerns. We have a compassionate and unique approach to treat you as an individual to help you accomplish your goal of conceiving and delivering a healthy newborn. Listed below are some of the most common topics that come up when discussing IVF and other Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART). Feel free to navigate directly to any of the areas that you are interested in, but please let us know if you have any questions. We can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone (317) 525-1234. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time).
Know your options
A free consultation is available to any prospective new patients. Whether you are just beginning your journey or seeking a second opinion, our experienced IVF Nurses will sit down with you to discuss your individual situation. Infertility can be caused by several different factors, some of which can be easily treated with medication or minimally-invasive surgical procedures. I have been successfully treating infertility for more than 30 years, helping couples all over the world achieve their goals of becoming a family.

Information about the procedure
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) has come a long way since its inception, however many people considering IVF to add to or expand their family still have many questions about the process. In this section, I have aimed to create a resource for you that will hopefully leave you better informed about the technology, success rates, and the procedure itself. As always, I encourage you to contact us if you have other questions about IVF.
Address the problem with the right solution, which isn't always IVF
Successfully addressing infertility issues requires an accurate diagnosis of the underlying issues. In this section, I supply information about some of the common issues that cause fertility problems, and some of the technologies and procedures that have been developed to address these specific issues. Again, please call us if you have additional questions; we are here to help.
Increase your odds by living healthy
